Vic NITP Womens and Mens Teams went to USA today

Seems to be lots of Vic teams going to USA in next few days. Hope we get some updates of teams and how the fair. Also their experiences.

Tasmanian Intitute of Sport scholarship holders and ETS group jetting off to the US middle of this coming week too.

Box Hill Senior Secondary, Maribyrnong College plus an Aussie Basketball Travellers combined team all went last Wednesday.

Great experience for all the kids, but good luck tracking any results ... none of the games these teams play are official games in the US, so very few game results posted online.

Gotta ask, how much do they pay for these trips and are they aware that if they went on student exchange they could live and play in the US for up to 3 months, greatly increasing their exposure to colleges?

on average these trips cost $6500-$7500
