Official: Joe Ingles signs with Maccabi Tel-Aviv

According to Eurobasket.com, Joe Ingles has signed with Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv.

Whilst the signing is not yet official, both sides have apparently already agreed terms and Ingles will sign for two years with an exit clause for the NBA after the first year.

So Joe apparently had NBA interest after the Olympics and after his latest season at Barca. Why didn't he end up signing? Did the teams decide against signing him or did Joe turn them down?

Ingles to decide between maccabi and olympiakos according to article from boti.He says he never had a guaranteed offer from nba.

Ingles is a product of the Australian Institute of Sport and also played for the Noarlunga City Tigers, Melbourne South Dragons and Bulleen Boomers in his native Australia. He helped Melbourne win the Australian League title in 2009.
