the AFL should learn to put player names on the back of Guernseys like the NBA does.
Last night they did Max, in the Richmond v Brisbane game.

They'll be doing it in all games this weekend, I believe, as some sort of trial to see if it works. Not sure why that's entirely necessary, really.

I think players names on Guernseys is a great idea.
When I wear my signed #23 Andrew McLeod Crows guernsey to the games people think its a petrenko guernsey.
Same as Port, some fans want to wear a Travis Boak #1 but would be mistaken for wearing a Cassisi Guernsey.
Another way the AFL could make money is bring back throwback guernseys.
Imagine a retro Ablett, Ruccuito, Breretton or Modra guernsey. Could even bring back the guernseys with the collars and brand them like the Hardwood Classic NBA Jerseys.
@Duffman, if the AFL could make money from it you can rest assured they will try it! They are always looking at something new and have plenty of cash to throw at these ideas. I like the throwbacks idea, I'd love to see some Sam Kekovich North Melbourne jumpers out there!
