Was the 13,540 because of Plumlee or Hampton?

Second highest Perth crowd behind Lamelo and the Hawks game of 13,550 (capacity is 13,611).

Was tonight's big crowd because of the Marketing behind Miles Plumlee?

Or had Perth people booked tickets in advance to see RJ Hampton?

Yeah I know but I was curious about what attracted such a big crowd tonight?

Perth getting a big crowd isnt that unusual is it? Its the holidays and they had a month without any home games and they are 2nd on the ladder

Since they sold the final five game membership packs you only need 1,800 to walk up on the day now to get to tonight's figure. Plus it's a long weekend and school holidays still.

It tends to happen towards the end of the season, when Perth are having a good year.
Not just the general enthusiasm, but they start selling 5-4-3-2-1 game memberships to get a jump on next season.

NZ traditionally draw in a few expat Kiwi fans in Perth too.

Yep, good point. NZ are easily the best away team crowd over here. Plenty again tonight. They're good value.

Anstey suggested a ten team comp next year

I doubt that would account for more than a few dozen extra people in the crowd

Certainly wasn't to do with Plumlee, I didn't see any extra asserting with him or Hampton and the crowd felt very normal tonight, interested to know how much more tonight's game was than the season average

Anyone think we might need a few new bigger stadiums in the next decade?

That's what was mentioned. I like the idea of giving new clubs longer to set up but I would personally be pretty happy to have them in quicker too! We will see.
