i saw Southern against Sturt a few weeks ago. They seemed quite evenly matched, so i'd expect them to put up a fight against f/ville.
I likewise saw f/ville v sturt game which was a good battle (f/ville winning i'm pretty sure). In that game i am tipping Southern in a upset. They'll win the boards and the game.

With the number of players missing from the Woodville team, i'll tip Sturt. haven't shown anything special in the two games i've seen, but no doubt Big Rick will get the team over the line.

In the West v East game, i really can't go past Eastern going on Bungey's form. Although this game (IMO) will be decided beyond the arc.

Norwood v Centrals... can't see this being much of a game, both teams disappointing during the ABL season, but then again this is a new season(and norwood won last years summer season didn't they?) Either way, i'm going with Centrals if not for any other reason than to give Libertine the sh!ts. (You got dreads now dude?)

North v South. Tough call, if Panther were coaching, it would be an easy South win, however he did say he retired? I'll stick with the cats, but only just.

1965 - any thoughts?

No Dixy, no Eagles. Arnie and Simo are in the process of cloning another Dixy for when the real Dixy retires.

I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Double foul

Eagles comfortably over a VERY young Tigers side, im talking under 18's & 20's.

Eagles looked sharp as always but Sutton and Gange in particular shot the ass off the ball.

Only highlight for southern would have been Tim Hodges and Tristan Braithwaite.

Still some ground to be made in the intencity stakes at Southern....

I would just be happy for Southern to name their senior coach.

South deafeated North by 2 at Hillcrest.
Both sides without a number of ABL Regulars.
