I was only joking about the announcer asking the crowd if anyone wanting to play injury cover for the Kings..... Do you have to be a Kiwi to put a Breakers jersey on for a game?
Maybe players were sick before the 36ers? Or... knowing Matt Walsh could they be pulling a sickie to buy time to train and improve?
Fair call from the league, if it were to be the virus it could derail the league. Best just to play it safe.
Still very lame though, thought this matchup would be a good one.

Perth shouldn't have home games. Any other state would have been ok for travel
They failed the pre-boarding health requirements, i'm not sure how that is WA's fault

So who did the Breakers last play? This has a lot of implications.

No it doesn't as we don't have coronavirus in SA (see the tennis with packed stands making global news last night).
Someone on the Breakers has probably gotten the flu and then passed it onto a number of others in their travelling party so to be extra cautious they've decided not to travel as they would've got rejected anyway and ordered Covid-19 tests to be safe.
Are the kings in the same hotel as breakers. ?? Let's hope doesn’t get out hand.

Why are people saying this has anything to do with Perth or with WA?
If you are unwell you must stay home. You are not allowed to go to the airport and you are certainly not allowed to travel. That has nothing to do with WA.

Breakers have all tested negative for Covid.
Unfortunate but the correct action was taken.
Bit rough to accuse the only team forced to relocate for potentially the whole season away from their friends, fans and families and live out of suitcases in hotels of trying to manipulate the Covid protocols to their advantage when they as a club and team are heavily disadvantaged.
Just ignore Perthworld. Everyone who is sensible knows it was the right thing to do.

Perth are going into a 5 day lockdown. Expect the Perth game on Friday to be Postponed and there may not be another game in Perth for the rest of the season

They would need to fly out within the next four hours (lockdown starts at 6pm local time).

Lol at anon #334 saying no more games in Perth because of a 5 day lockdown. They are playing in Brisbane and adel after they had lockdowns.
