Kings v Sixers May 16

The Sixers took home the Chochies last game and are only one win behind the Crumbles.

This is a do or die game for the Sixers, lose this one and you might as well book holidays to India during the finals time. The Kings can't take a breath either in this double point game. A win keeps them at the head of the pack of four hunting for fourth spot, a loss gives hope to Brisbun and Adelaide. Whoever gets the points this game has the advantage.

Because it's a double point situation, my kiss of death goes to the Sixers. I'm looking for a win to keep their chances alive and keep this season more interesting than a share house of Uni students

Bets on being Gidboys last game?

If Humphries out, brings kings back in it. Cooks adds class and should get a lot more time. Adelaide look better organised offensively and defensively kings rely on to few. Kings still chance of finals and could lift for Forde.

Got no idea, just think Sixers have shown more lately. Sixers by 2.

The last seven games have all been Giddey's last game according to people on here.

What’s your point mate?

His point is that for the past seven games some people here have been claiming each game will be Giddeys last game for Adelaide.

And long may it continue.

For without Giddey, 36ers are about as interesting as watching paint dry.

Yeah. Just like picking 3 on every spin of the roulette wheel.

If Humphries is out and with the Kings no doubt stepping up for their coach I expect the Kings to get this one.

Kings by 9

What's the saying about doing the same thing over and over expecting different result?

That’s Adelaide being 2 for a gazillion from three

poor shot selection from Giddey at the end. He is not Bryce Cotton to be shooting down the stretch. Work the ball around and find an open scorer.

Looks to me as if Giddey has mailed in the last couple of games after those back to back triple doubles, he looks a shadow of the player he was, poor passes and bad shots.

Now that we're officially out of the finals race I expect Giddey to sit out the last five games and with Humphries now injured again not much point risking him again either assuming he's coming back next season.

Adelaide were competitive, to much hate on Pinder, he did quite well. Paul is a whiner, Crocker did ok, Giddey had Moller guard him a lot, it hurt his passing over the top and ability to get into the paint. McVeigh has talent, hopefully he can just settle down a bit and just concentrate on basketball and leave chest beating out. Humphries is loss, Johnson can score but if Sixers to advance he should be off the bench next season. Dillon was effective when on, certainly better than some other guards in the league.

Kings still very Ware eccentric, yes 12 assists but still over dribbles. Martin does some fine things and scores quite freely, defensively looks like an ex nba player. Bruce and Newley are solid, should both be off bench next season if kings going to be strong. Hunter was great, has the odd brain fade that gets him in foul trouble though. Moller is very solid at both ends, great defensively on guards or bigs. Nice to see Cooks back and understandingly was a bit rusty. Kickett was ok, should be last season though.

Mathematically we can still make the playoffs.

We have to win 5 in a row and hope Illawarra, and Sydney keep losing.

Yes the same Sydney team we let win today.

If the team just packed up I wouldn't be too worried either, Giddey has exited the last 2 games. Humphires cannot stay healthy, Pinder keeps getting minutes.

Have an eye to next season.

Give IH recovery time he needs.

Worth the team considering who they will keep for next season/who is contracted.

If they intend on keeping Paul, keep working him into the team.

If Pinder stays, keep teaching him how to play smart. If he plays better off the bench, play him off the bench. Play small and start McVeigh if need be.

Put time into Dech and McVeigh - give them lots of minutes.

They would be silly to have more than one of Mud, Dillon, Teys next season. I'd expect Teys to go; and whomever is likely to stay out of Mud and Dillon, hand them more point guard minutes.

and then would the fans decide it's time for them to stay home to avoid paying to watch the B team?
