Illawarra v Adelaide May 30

Wow, the pressure is back on the Hawks with a stunning double OT win by the Kings last night. They could actually slip into 3rd spot with a solid win over the Sixers today. The Sixers have slumped and lost their last 5 games in a row, including the last two to the Hawks.

The Sixers are not looking their best whereas the Hawks are looking sharper than an entrepreneur in a tailored suit. Oh, a Sixers win would be nice, but my patented Kiss of Death must go the Gorj and the Hawks.

Only way Sixers get close is if Paul plays like his reputation, an nba player and then they still will lose as some of their players don't play defence.

I can only see a hawks win going away, but then I did tip the same re United.

Illawarra rims + Corey Williams commentary = unwatchable, unlistenable

Corey at least doesn't talk continuously, Cam Luke, now that’s a horrible empty vessel that makes the most noise.

NBL commentary is as lacking in talent as Adelaide right now

With talent such as Heal, Homicide and Cam Luke NBL commentary really is a shitshow.

Seriously pull a Bruce and setup a mini studio in John Casey's place so he can commentate NBL games.

More than ever, even more than L’Oréal, He’s worth it.

Painful to watch. Even more painful to listen to.

A lot of 36ers looking like a rabble completely contracted and not needing to prove themselves. Too much walking around. Coenraad shouldn't be able to come in cold and light you up.

Haha I said that last game. Pretty much standard 36ers - the players don't actually care.

The only players that have showed that they care and played with heart is Isaac Humphries, Daniel Dillon and McVeigh. DJ never looks like caring but doesn’t necessarily mean he doesn’t.

The rest do need to feel a little ashamed at showing no real heart.

You can be crap and still show you’re trying. At least produce effort. Give some hope and light to Adelaide fans for next year. Otherwise they’re just lazy and selfish and think they’re better than they are, and thinking it’s not their fault it’s someone else’s. Trash attitude. Show respect.

Occasionally there's a chance steal that makes it look like they're trying, but it's not convincing.

Tell the guys that are contracted to show some effort or you'll recruit over them. Tell the rest to show for their next contract.

Half the times down the floor, they're not even getting the ball inside the three point line before losing it.

Edit: And still aren't given Purchase has just gone 3/3 3P!

Clean out dead wood and don't overpay for average talent. Let the coach select his type of players, Johnson can score, get another scoring machine, get some team players that play defence. Let McVeigh go to Tasmania if they over pay. Pinder has got better, he’s still bench standard and certainly not worth what he’s rumoured to be getting paid.

I agree with the above that the care factor has dropped off a cliff since Giddey and IH became unavailable.

The coach So many missed assignments, making players like Coenraad and Grida look good.

Why was Brandon Paul carrying on like a pork chop all game? I didn't hear why if anything was said?

He was very aggressive at tip-off getting called for a foul 2 seconds in and seemed to have a real bee in his bonnet all game. Probably deserved to be ejected at one point how much he carried on at the refs.

Just seemed bizarre like he had gotten some really bad news before the game or something.

Brandon Paul most likely had been told he is not coming back next season.
