NBL1 Central Coaching 2023

Have seen Centrals and Herriman have parted ways according to their Facebook. What other jobs are up for grabs? I think I saw Eastern men advertise which makes sense. Are West maybe appointing from within? Any other movements?

Rojo shown the door at Mavs after a very poor couple of years. Can't see this being an attractive team or club for any coach IMO.

Rojo certainly knows his x's and O's, just not a great people person. Expected a little bit more success this season with Legan and Koop but depth not there. Their juniors always seem to hold their weight, does it come down to not having a couple of "star" juniors coming through to become nbl1 quality rather than a number of "good" players that just aren't up to senior level.
Warhurst was crucified on this forum and will no doubt get a few more sledges, but can hardly keep blaming him.
Rumours of Eastern being after KB a few years back may swirl again, but his time at Central's didn't attract any players, in fact left them worse off after he left. Same could be said with Central's men and their coup of signing Tracey.
But just shows location being a hurdle with the teams around the bottom. Only thing that can really combat that is locals coming through or a very large chequebook.

I hear they picked up Dean Nyberg. What is North doing letting him go? They have big shoes to replace and surely they won't go down the recycling Rogers path. There are a few coaching spots available with not many if any good candidates

North look like a bombsite with junior coaches going as well, wonder if it all has to do with Flynns departure or junior players lost or combo.
Be interesting if West opens up the chequebook to Dean's liking.

Any news on North and Mavs coach. Surely North won't pick up Rojo with his penchant for tech fouls and being let go by Mavs after a winless season

Great news from North who have appointed RoJo as their Men's Head Coach for NBL1 in 2023.

Their club is going places by hiring the coach of the team that he proudly took to the bottom of the ladder, and didn't get to see the end fruit's of his labour because.....
Well because somebody else took over the role of coaching from him.

Here comes a trophy for Norff. Not s premiership, but a spoon is good enough right???

Scott Freer in as southern coach.
I do think Eastern won a game, against Southern from memory.
Can only imagine no-one else applied at North. And complete change in their junior coaching ranks. So much for the Flynn era, way worse off than when he took over.

Eastern won two, both against Southern. Georgia Crouch Forestville Womens coach. Not sure on her experience?

Is Norwood women the only vacancy remaining?

Just saw that Koops suited up for North in reserves. Is he a local yet, or another Cotton?
If a local, great pickup. If an import what the hell is going on that Rojo has brought him along after the debacle at Eastern.
Or is he warming the seat like at Southern when 2 other restricted players come along.
