Channel 10 to broadcast historic Christmas night clash

Channel 10 to broadcast historic Christmas night clash

The historic Sydney Kings' Christmas night clash will now have a new start time and be broadcast on Channel 10’s main free-to-air channel in both NSW and Victoria.

The Sydney Kings have welcomed the announcement of the changes to be played on December 25 at 6.30pm against Melbourne United at Qudos Bank Arena. Capacity for this game is limited to 9,500.

Pretty big development re: broadcast as even in the 80s/90s FTA for night games was always on tape delay by at least an hour.

For context the game was originally scheduled for 10 Peach only with tipoff at 7:15pm.

Anyone else not watched free to air in 10+ years? Proper redundant format

It feels weird watching it at the moment since SBS hold the World Cup rights.

Huge broadcast coming up on Sunday.

Everybody is going to be watching NBL on FTA like it's 1989.
