Exum is the real deal (Beast mode)

I've seen enough, Exum is the real deal. Straight up balling. Shooting over 60% from 3pt over the last 5 games.

His stats don’t tell the whole story though. He has been a floor general for the starting 5. He plays with much more poise and confidence these days making the right plays.

Time for the Boomers to hand Exum the torch.

Even his lesser game in the loss on Dec 19 was still 11 points on 5/5 FG.

This is his Linsanity.

Dexumber? Surely there's a better option than that.

Fantastic to see.

Hopefully he can get a good long term deal out of this.

Giddey
Exum
Green
Reath
Landale

Surround Giddey with shooters, Fiba/Spurs Patty off the bench...

I like that.

I reckon we need another genuine 5 to go along with Reath and Landale tbh. Like a Baynes in Tokyo.

Magner worth a look maybe, can hold his own against the monsters of the Europeans sides, Embiid, Gobert etc.

Baynes barely played in Tokyo. Most of the 4/5 minutes ended up being Landale, Kay, Ingles, Thybulle. I agree we need another big in there though, this isn't the well-oiled Rio/Tokyo team anymore.

The big's will be interesting...

Jock’s back from injury

Duop has emerged

Simmons has said he’s available

Magnay has re emerged

We still have Kay, Cooks, White…

Toohey might be too young but definitely next tourney!

And as far as I can tell they are all playing minutes for their current teams, not collecting DNP’s

There’s a version of this team where both Cooks and White don’t make the cut…

Cooks has been average in the Japanese league, only averaging about 10pts/8 boards. Nick Kay far superior in terms of season production so far

Add Travers and Bolden to the bigs list...

Bolden terrible defensively.

Is there an issue with landale not getting much court time similar to mills and taking a bit to get going? We really can't afford to have players work their way into the competition.

Simmons is injured
Kay doing well in not that strong a comp
Cooks has been very average in same comp as Kay
Bolden been reasonably good offensive wise, as above defence is questionable
Magnay has been great in a tough comp
Landale very little game time
Humphries been great in a tough comp
Reath is more nba than fiba and shortish compared to euro fives.
