Sixers @ Bullets - Fri 9th Feb

Tips 7:30pm NSW/VIC.

Who knows what we'll be served here.

Personally hoping Adelaide are focused and power to a w. Be cool for their fan base to make the play-in after a horrible season start where they looked like hot garbage.

This is painful to watch... sixers devoid of any offensive structure. Nothing but hero ball tonight.

Just not the same talent as in the previous game, Sixers are talking about signing very much the same team, still need a true point guard and a good one.

Brisbane showed confidence and intent, Sixers looked like they didn't want to be there.

For Sixers, too many easy shots missed and too much iso, coupled with Brisbane’s tough defence frustrating the Sixers.

Happy for Schueller, but cringing for Ninnis and the Sixers.

Brisbane desperate for a leading point guard also.

Their import point has played six minutes tonight and has nothing but zeros on the boxscore to show for his efforts. Management need to be creative during the offseason and find a way to get off the second year of his contract.

That's an impressive amount of zeroes next to his name.

Dunkman, I think this team but replacing say Mitch with a very good import PG or SF (like Cleveland), would be competitive with anyone this year that isn't Melbourne, probably. Perhaps we can argue they’re also missing a nice benchie connector piece.

If they kept Humphries, Kell, Galloway, Cadee along with DJ and even let’s say Wiley, they’re probably in that position where that’s all they need to do and it hopefully makes the offseason an easy one to focus their attention to those few specific aspects.

Now, if they do all these re-signings and go for a benchie import or don’t have the money to get a decent import or they miss out on the right connector piece that gives effort and balance, then the team is going to be insufficient.

"Excluding Kyrin Galloway's three-of-five from beyond the arc, Adelaide misfired at a dismal 1-23 from downtown"

Good lord, reminds me of when I used to play basketball. Of course that'd be my 3 point shooting percentage for the year, not in a single game.

Congrats to Brisbane, their season is still alive. Adelaide coaching staff couldn't get the right matchups last night. I have mentioned this previously, Marshall does nothing on an elite or NBL level and is was on show again last night. Wiley needs to work out his game! Where to take his shots from, he is far too erratic. A lot of comments about bringing Humprhies back. Watching him over a few games, his body language is terrible, not sure if he is someone you would love having on your team? Hopefully for the Adelaide fans they get what they want in the final round some high flying dunks from Flowers rather than having to watch McCarron jog around for 20 minutes with 2 points!!!!

Has every team in the league played finals since the 6ers last did?

Yes.

Brisbane did it a year after the last time the 36ers made it.
