With basketball being a pro. sport, do the sixers have a scout on their books to keep an eye on the young talent coming through. In football they have a team of staff to do this what do we have?
Maybe why we have no idea of the kids playing college or other states

Doubt that any of these people or others of the Phil and co network have beothered to call and talk to the AIS coaches or any college coaches.
Phil is renowned for being loyal to his current players. Probably due to the way in which Mike Dunlap promoted Brett in front of Phil based on it being better for Brett's potential.
That Brad Newley was not spoken too show how 'the network' doesn't work at all. That we have never recruited out of College show the same.

Brad Newley was spoken too by Phil and the Sixers but obviously liked the Townsville option. Jingle bells should be highly sought after and #1 on the Sixers wish list for next season and when Ryan Kersten is finished his Div 1 College career at New Mexico he will be an absolute MUST to replace an ageing Brett Maher in a few years. Get Newley back and the Sixers will have a crazy team in a few years.
