example
EAGLES - 1.20
Tigers - 2.20
Spread Eagles +16.5

if eagles win by 16 it counts as a loss if they win by 17 its a win.

and no I cant afford to play the $$$ (Mrs. Fats would kill me)

its just a fun way to pick some winners

Looks like a huge round in the mens league especially. The only tip you could be remotely confident of might be in the Eagles-Tigers game (and it's probably the opposite situation in the womens).

You can't have both teams below $1.85, because thats what the spread pays.

Boost, I sincerely hope he/she is not taking bets at that rate, as he would have no takers.

Um, how shall I put this politely. Adelaide Fats, I think you should go back to bookie school because you have flunked badly.

I'm not knocking who you think are the favourites/underdogs/what the likely spread would be, etc but you've made a pretty big, fundamental mistake on the actual odds themselves.

For example, for the men, you've listed the Lions at 1.50 and Norwood at 1.30. This means both teams are heavy odds-on favourites to win, which of course is impossible in any H2H clash or 2-horse race, and gives the punter no value at all.

More realistically, one team would be at say 1.60 and the other at 2.20 for example, or 1.40 and 2.70 - one favourite, one underdog.
