yes, they do fit the age category indeed!

thats the problem we have had all season, consistency in performance from game to game, its a rare few who can produce week in and week out,our problem is the gap in performances, outstanding from individuals one match, non existent the next, good players will always find ways to contribute but we seem to have to many who disappear from the face of the earth.Darnell Mee when playing here is an example of what u need,i recall phil saying that if they need him to score well he did,if the oriority was for him to defend he may have been down on points but u could guarentee his opponent would be way down and Darnell would have a stack of blocks and defensive rebounds. We need guys like this who will be playing for the team and maybe a little less for themselves

Shame they let kids like Newley and Ingles go. They should have pursued them , not treated them with disrespect. Both are kicking sand in our faces with the stats they are putting up. Shame on Basa and the 36ers.

F__k Joe Ingles and F__k Brad Newley, I am so sick of hearing that 'if only' we recruited them or 'if only' we showed them more respect the Sixers would be a premiership position, what a load of bullocks.

How does anyone god dam know we would not be in the same place with them.

Just look at the Red backs and the young players they have selected to play and they are a rabble. Shaun Tait, Mark Cosgrove, Dan Cullen, Ben Cameron, Callum Ferguson, Cameron Bogus (are some of the best kids in the country) and a few of the older players like Lehmann, Dizzy and Elliott and they are the joke of Australian cricket.

No one knows how the Sixers year would have gone with the young kids, even of we had Newley and Ingles (Newley will be gone to the NBA soon anyway and so will Ingles) will not be a long term benefit as they will not be hear anyway.

Lets see who the Sixer recruit for 2007 before whining about the average age of the players.

Jimmy the snitch has his head up his ass. Why dont u look around and see. U have your head up your ass, and you are the one whinging, like the rest of the 36er fans.
The fact is, we need a change, and whoever the team are, guys like u will still complain!

I don't disagree that we need a change that is blatantly obvious. But sacking Phil Smyth is not the ANSWER because we would not get anyone better.

Continuing to go on and on and on about the loss of Brad Newley or Joe Ingles is just pointless as they are not a long term answer either, FFS build a bridge and get over it.

The Sixer should look at signing Damien Ran from Perth as a priority and then move Brett back to the 2 spot, pick up a quality 3 man imports with Nick Horvath and David Cooper inside.

Wheeler, Dodman as the back up bigs, recruit a good bench swingman with Ng and Hill (or Sutton) to round off the guard rotation

3 players are a major priority a point guard, an import to play the 3 spot and a bench swingman.

Copeland, Nash, Timmons, and Farley will no longer be needed
