Anyone guessing who will play for lightning next season. We all know Marino will be there but they need more guards. I doubt that Williams will get a look in because she will always be a fringe player. Just hasnt got it but any guesses as to who they will get

From last season..Francis was the only one signed.
Recently ..Marino , Foley , Newley and Duke signed.
The other players are free agents.

The basis for the team is very solid.
Still the hangovers from the Lucas era.
When will we see some quality recruits from the new coach??

I hope Lightning pursue Abby Bishop and a big point/shooting guard, someone of the Camino mould.
The questions are; Is Gahan looking to re-sign? And can we somehow rebuild the bridges with Phillips?
I think not on both accounts, but who knows?

Gahan looking at Europe this summer , as is Phillips, then Francis will, next summer.
After this summer, WNBL probably will go to winter, allowing the players to play europe and here.
Heard duke is looking to go home to be closer to family?
Why havent any of the signings been announced? And the re-signing of coaches hasnt been announced either. What is going on?

Only 2 players left out of the championship team left that Lucas put together from 12 mths ago. There must be a problem to have such a huge turnover of players in such a short time.

Would you stay after the debacle surrounding the sacking?
Would not matter which coach came in to the job because the players knew what really happened and have decided there are better places to be.
If you add woosnam to that list they will be very good allowing for good imports. with the payments in Adelaide I am sure they will get good ones(imports).

Adelaide would not be a chance of getting her so no need to waste their time... She will end up in Melbourne as somewhat immature (remember she is only 17) and would need the family support. Just increasing her value by saying she might possibly go elsewhere.
