Miners reach deal with new US import

BALLARAT Miners are hoping to announce a new basketball import within days.

The Miners have reached agreement with a United States-based player, but are waiting for paperwork to be finalised before releasing his name.

His signing fills one of two vacancies created by the exit of the Ballarat Holden Miners' two first-year imports Gerard Anderson and Joe Harden earlier this month.
