where did braves go wrong?

Anyone with SEABL know how can u pls let me know what happened to Bendigo. They were stacked with talent & looking good. Did Garlepp travel or was it just that Jazz had a shocker shooting night?

Garlepp didn't travel.
Jazz was Ice Cold.

Bendigo just don't have the depth when the chips are down.
Bendigo have a couple great individuals, Geelong are a super team.
Both have exited the playoffs.

Dandy V Mt Gambier is going to be seriously good.

Chasing the ref down the court, going mental and getting ejected probably didn't help things

Bendigo relied too much on a handful of extremely good players performing at near their best every game. If one or more wasn't at their best or got into trouble with fouls or injury, they didn't have enough quality players on the bench to fill the gap. Sometimes you can get away with that but this time the Braves didn't.

From a short term point of view Bendigo didn't do much wrong. 22-6, conference final, beaten by a better team on the day.

From a long term point of view they didn't do much right. Probert and Hogan were the only locals who played a meaningful role. Really needed to give more opportunity to Bartlett, Bell and Adtkins. Giving time to Josh Garlepp over those 3 locals is an interesting decision...

You need to go 7-8 deep to win a SEABL title, without any regular contributions from the bench you rely on your starters to get it done all the time.

i was right in front of Garlepp under the ring watching and that definetely looked like a foul to me. no wonder he was so upset but the swearing didn't help the cause.
