Round 19

This round seems massive this week. Heritage round just adding to the excitement.

Friday:
Wollongong-Breakers. Two days ago I would have said the 'Gong to grind out a hard fought win. An injury to Tiggs will mean the Red Fox will be going through a few whiteboard markers to work out a game plan. Breakers like a coal train could smash them. Oskar and the boys likely to punch above their weight in what will be an exciting game.

Cairns-Sydney
Carmouche has left due to personal reasons to go back to the States. This will definitely put Sydney of the back foot. Cairns season should be over, but like a pommy backpacker in an abandoned mining camp, they refuse to die. I would call in Mick Taylor to put them out of their misery, but one more win over Sydney wouldn't hurt? "winna!"

Perth-Melbourne
1 v 3. Absolute cracker. Perth beat Adelaide by 24, Adelaide beat Melbourne by 17, Perth should be Melbourne by 24+17=41 ? With all the who hah during the week, will be a great game. Ennis should count his lucky stars he was a bit unco and didn't connect with Mitch Creek last round. Will he be rattled? or will he come out and slam down another 30 points. Is Goulding a spent force, or will he lift his team to victory? Matty Knight is back (?) Wildcats should prevail in the battle of the pussycats.

Saturday:
Townsville-Sydney
Sydney back up for another game in the humidity of the Sunshine Swing. Townsville smashed Perth last home game, what will they do to Sydney? Crocs with nothing to lose and if the 'Gong go down like a sack of spuds, the Crocs will be looking to donate the wooden spoon to them. Sydney could be a broken team by the end of this round, and out of the 4 if not careful.

Sunday
Sixers-Breakers
Saving the best 'til last. Joey with the possibility of a night in the stands giving the reigns to KB. Breakers backing up after a win? I have heard ticket sales very good so expect a lot of noise. Coopz's videos during the week have been fantastic. Great to see Brett Maher, KB and co. in action. Time has been kind to some, but I did notice that someone's hair has got darker over the years instead of a different colour.

..... oh, and let's not forget Josh Pace from Townsville suspension for alleged DUI adding a bit of cracked pepper to the mix.

each week is as unpredictable as the last...

good sign of the times when the current last placed team ahs beaten all or most of the top placed teams...

pity its not a final 8... lol

Hawks = key injury = win
Kings = key departure = win
