The prophecy is playing out

The prophecy of Brisbane knocking out Perth in the first round of 2019 NBL playoffs is playing out before our very eyes.

Seldom do we as humans get a chance to witness something so divine, yet here it is right in front of us.

We should feel blessed.

Bless up.

Still would need to pinch one at Perth which is bloody tough (and that's even assuming Brisbane hold their own home court in Game 2 - not so sure there's quite the same home court advantage with the 83 odd spectators a game).

Until teams can't beat Perth at Perth consistently, it's always going to be a huge task!

Oh it will be a huge task, but Patterson and the lads are up for it. This is Patterson's team, that much is clear even after half a dozen games.

Perthworld is shitting himself

In 2019? That will be a miracle if the Bullets survive until then. LK losing $Millions on that inane decision.

The ancient tablets have it written.
The whispers are growing louder.
Not all is quiet on the Western front. There are rumblings.
They look over their shoulders during the day.
Paralysed under their blankets at night.
The boogie man is here.
Haunting chants have started.
Large brass instrumental horns are now playing.
This is now war.

You're willing to cut your losses from an investment in a sports team after six months due to a poor first third of the season results-wise. Not sure you should be talking rationality right now, Lovebroker.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You know 2019 is only a month away and the Bullets are the only reason the league is viable, right?

Peth Wildcats play Golden State Warriors at Perth Arena.

Perth Wildcats win after shooting 100 Free throw attempts to the Warriors 2.

Wildcats fans, "the Wildcats are just better team that defend so well".

There's something about Melbourne this year, I just can't warm to them as they eek out wins but Brisbane I think have much more upside...

Hodgson seems to be making less dumbarse fouls and if he can stay on the floor then they are tougher.

Patterson is an out and out star, I'm not sure of his ceiling yet.

Bairstow is getting better by the game and come playoff time could be the toughest player to defend in the comp.

This is about Perth being beaten by Brisbane and as much as I'd hate to see this, it's far from a dumb idea, bullets don't have mental scars vs Wildcats and they have won in Perth and played some great 38 minutes games and fell down late in others.

Brisbane's issue is that Holt and an in form Gibbo are on the bench and Cadee is taking their minutes away so they are struggling to play enough minutes with Jason being the main ball handler regardless of the game that he's having and of course executing in the clutch

Like last year, I guess.

Meanwhile, Homicide has an interest in seeing Perth fail. People speak of Cadee being underdone at PG. Are you seeing how this will all play out yet?

"Meanwhile, Homicide has an interest in seeing Perth fail."

He tweeted at someone the other day that he "doesn't hate Perth" just a week after posting his video with the three reasons why he hated Perth.

JC will suffer a serious injury of the crucifix, resulting in his homies mourning his death for the 3 days of the finals.

He will rise again for the grand final series, and the meek will inherit the earth.

It is written.

As it is written by the prophet Manu Fieldel:

The mighty Perth Wildcats will be strong
playing through the regular season to their fullest
Yet will stumble and fall when it counts
Against the resurgent Brisbane Bullets!
