for the Semifinals ? is it
1 v 4 27th Feb
2 v 3 28th Feb
1 v 4 29th Feb
2 v 3 01st Mar
1 v 4 02nd Mar (if required)
2 v 3 03rd Mar (if required)
When do Finals start ?
League cant confirm til playoff spots are confirmed.
And if standings stay the same your going to have Perth & Cairns travel the length of the country on their rest day? It's a long flight Perth/Alice/Cairns and back again!! Never going to happen from a player welfare point of view
The travel has been worse. The 2016 Grand Final was:
Wednesday night: Perth
Friday night: Auckland
Sunday morning: Perth
I'd hope they wouldn't schedule something like that again
NZ will be in for a tough travel schedule too. Play in Sydney, two nights later they host the Kings, then they have to fly all the way over to Perth for the GF opener.
It would have been so much better for the environment and players welfare if we could have had the 2 Melbourne teams hosting Adelaide and Sydney in the semis, then playing each other in the GF!

But....both Melbourne teams suck sooooo that was never going to happen.

I thought I saw earlier on the NBL website that the Finals Dates were 27th Feb to 3rd Mar for Semifinals and 06th Mar to 15th Mar for Finals but I cannot see it anymore .
When will NBL announce definite dates after this round ? .
