Perth will make playoffs

Just for any doubters out there... You're off your collective heads. Perth will waltz to the playoffs. Quality team, quality. Quality.

Why would one game just after the half way point of the season change your fervent view a few days ago?

So who in the top 5 misses out?

I'm thinking Illawara will miss the top 4.

LOL, good to see some light heartedness as it feels too super serial around here lately.

These remind me of when during the peak Wildcats fan infiltration of Hoops 'Sack Gleeson' threads would appear after a single loss. Good times.

It would take a massive home-stretch choke job for the Wildcats to not make the top 4.

As for who misses out, looking at the Kings schedule there's a long road swing coming up with the SEM-Perth-SEM trio in particular going to be tough:

Cairns (away)
NZB (away)
SEM (away)
Perth (away)
SEM (away)
Adelaide (away)
Adelaide (home)
Hawks (home)
Hawks (away)
Cairns (away)

The Hawks games at the end of the year will also most likely be massive for both teams, and could end up deciding who makes it to the top 4. If the Kings win all the games they should and half the ones they might that would be a 7-3 run to finish the season and a 18-10 record. At worst maybe 5-5, which would see them at 16-12.

I wish it were easy to view the other team's schedules, but alas, not so.

Credit where it is due Manu, well played sir.

A single win doesn't prove anything either way but it has showed that the Wildcats *should* be there when the whips are cracking.

I'm already looking forward to the playoffs, regardless of who is in there.

Well let's not get a head of ourselves .
Norton had 26 and the bench only got 10 and that was from one guy.
Have to see more .

Yep, scoring 97 on the best defensive team in the comp with Cotton having a moderate night is certainly concerning.
