"Was always leaving hence the Ninnis appointment"
Ninnis replaced Mick Downer.
I think a change of the assistant coaches was important as they struggled with simple things like subbing out Cleveland on 2 fouls in the first quarter in a must win game for the team. Cleveland got his 3rd foul and we didn't see him again until the 3rd quarter. They just continued to miss simple details like that. This is a positive for both the club and the previous assistant coaches.

Even though Pearlman was always viewed as an NBL HC in waiting he seemed to struggle to impact much of anything under Henry/CJ. Henry was an experienced coach but CJ wasn't and we saw plenty of limitations with CJ's coaching over the past two seasons.
I really think the Sixers need an older, experienced coach as the lead assistant to help CJ. Preferably someone who hasn't been around the club before (no Smyth or KB) and ideally a bit of a headkicker but those coaches are unfashionable these days and are being pushed out. No way should that Randall situation have been allowed to happen under a competent coaching staff.
Ian Stacker would be a good get.

No Ninnis replaced Pearlman
2nd assistant will be named shortly. 36er fans should see a familiar name.

It's definitely time for him. Obviously a loyal top bloke but eventually a different voice is needed. A career asst coach can't last forever (Eric Cooks - hold me beer LOL).
