I know this has been touched on before, but I went out to the Port last night and that team is not what it was last year.
As soon as Sturt started pulling away West had absolutely no answers.
Their starting 5 from last year was no where to be seen.
Rintala obviously went interstate, their import didn't come back.
Fejo not playing (and rumours that she doesn't want to play), Simmons out, Skye Langderbring quit.
Their bench - both Pearce sisters, Mikayla Lappin (all west juniors) gone.
It appears that West are resting on their laurels, putting all their attention (and money) on the men's side.
McKay went from 5 minutes a game to starting 5.
Genna and Molley went from a sh*tshow at Noorwood where people were quitting because of the coach, to West.... where people are quitting.
Their new import is reasonable, but as soon as the first sub is called, the team turns to poop.
So now the question is.... where to for West women?
