NBL1 East Final Womens

Cracking game with Manly taking down CoE in a close game throughout. Manly has a young squad, eldest is about 24/25. Over their playing lives these women have received little recognition from state and national selectors - but they stayed local, played together since juniors and took down what is effectively the Aust U19 women's team, not once but twice this season. Zoey Miller, Kim Hodge, Fliss and Annie Henderson, Bree and Alex Delaney, Josie Bulman. Wins like this prove the old adage that a champion team will beat a team of champions. Next week the GF vs Norths.

A couple of underwhelming results from a David Herbert coached side. Surely his position needs to be reviewed.

Did SP miss out on David Herbert's job?

Yes, obviously I want to coach junior basketball because I questioned somebody's recent mediocre results.
