Townsville comes back from a 9 point deficit at halftime to win 98-97 over Adelaide. Whitcomb looked very good in her first outing for Townsville with 33 points. Isabelle Bourne looked very good inside and out with 28 points for Adelaide. Not much defence played, but entertaining, especially for a preseason game.

Saffron Shiels looking better at this level than juniors.

Shiels looks a lot better when she doesn't have to run an offence. A hint to all the coaches trying to turn her into a point guard.

Lynx scrape home against a Swainless, Madgenless, Richardsless, Georgeless Flames lineup.
Emma Clarke a massive 3rd quarter, and Atwell came up big in the 4th for Perth.

Atwell was clutch in the final minute or so. If Sydney hit that fast break layup to put them up by 6, things could have been different.

WNBL guards are going to struggle to contain McDonald's speed this season. Clarke and McSpadden both look like they're developing well - will be interesting to see how they're used in a full strength Flames rotation. Bradley really struggled with point guard duties tonight. The Flames don't need a lot from her, but they do need somebody who can be a steady point guard presence. Panousis was a lot more steady at the point.

Watching now and according to the on screen scoreboard the Lynx are in front by 50 midway through the third.

Why is it so hard to find a box score for any of these games? Am I going crazy...I cant find one. There's nothing on the WNBL website?

Talent across the board down this year.
Some players I thought would get a spot, did not. Some players very lucky to get a contract.
Lots of players in europe, lots chosen to remain in college.

Ageee, Weedy, league has dropped.
Gone is also the thought that it is a must to play WNBL in an Olympics year. Players are cashing in, like they should
