Brisbane v SEM

Bullets v phoenix, 2/11/23, 6.30 pm Brisbane and 7.30 Melbourne.

Should be a very good game, while all rave about scoring abilities, this will be won on the defensive end. Scheuler has learned well from Vickerman and seems to be able get favourable decisions, in nz and at home, could be a decisive factor. Both on winning runs, no point tipping as I'm wrong most time, I’ll just enjoy the game.

NBL refs remain the worst in any professional league in the world.

The NBL is so obsessed in wanting to be seen as a high scoring league that they have banned anyone playing defense.

Its all artificial.

The end product is an unwatchable product

All the early foul calls were rubbish, the refs put themselves into a corner when they actually had to call true fouls. Why oh why, let the game flow a bit. Gak injury is bad for him and SEM.

Refs decided from the first play of the game SEM weren't winning this. Absolutely embarrassing for the league.

Shakes head, refs spoiled the first half but SEM got some dumb players and iso. Vague is an nbl 1 player, all guards gone iso, bullets just playing smarter and team. Sad news for Gak.

As I said previously Scheuler really learned the lesson from Vickerman, he's controlling the refs

Creek is probably the best Australian player or one of in the league but his defence today has been horrible. SEM don't deserve this, to many believe their headlines.

Phoenix are pretenders, good starting five, though they play to iso, Kenyon useful, Ayre can be useful but iso as well, after that I just don't see it.
Brisbane on the other hand seem to be favourites of the refs, that helps but also seem to be well balanced and reasonable bench.
55 fouls isn’t going to make attractive basketball, call fouls but this crew tonight just called every thing and I’d say a fair few were just made up.

And yet you tune in every game to have a sook.
NBL must be doing something right to keep you hooked.

50 points off the bench for bullets, 14 for SEM, it sort off confirms what I've thought all along and said above.
United will set the bench mark and from there it’ll be a bit luck on where you finish in the log jam.
