Real dud game from Okoye. Kept throwing up bad shots until a couple of threes in garbage time made her stats look semi respectable

Melbourne needs help quickly. She makes so many great passes to her team mates and the shots aren't falling. She is an amazing player, but needs help from her team mates.

More than anything, last night showed how inexperienced and young the caps are. The collective wnbl games of the team would be very low and there were some veteran moves and decisions from SS last night. Jade only has 51 games under her belt.
There's also some room to improve rotations, especially as the team are very similar in the 2-5 spot when Bunton is not on.

Refereeing was fairly average to say the least. Ss adjusted, caps did not and grew more and more frustrated.

Awesome game in Townsville tonight. Lynx v Lightning game was good too. It's a shame about the 9 Now coverage though - missed the entire first half last night & black out in the dying seconds tonight

Lynx games are even more chaotic this season, but it turned into a fun one indeed. Between the NBL & WNBL there are some very watchable small point guards in the country atm.

While there are many big name Aussies over in Europe, the WNBL is certainly fun watching this season!
Shame that 9Now is just no good at broadcasting live sport.
