Dyson Daniels recent form
Vs Bucks: 22 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals.
Sounding like a broken record, but he's having an excellent season.

This defensive superstar also boasts a great offensive skill set, one that is seldom acknowledged by the media.

Will be looking at a decent pay day after next year if he continues this form. Hawks shed some salary at deadline, but will have a few young guys making some money.
Maybe it's time to find a team to take Trae. Should have tried with Spurs to get their picks back and more plus a player or two. Would Philly be dumb enough to swing for the fences for a Trae/Maxey deal and their first this year. Maybe dangle a prospect and swaps (not sure of their status, I know spurs fleeced them) and Sixers might be desperate. Can't see Hawks progressing with Young at the helm, get something for him and let them build.
And while Daniels is averaging 16ppg per 40 minute, it's hardly Luka. Add in points of steals and the doubles Trae attracts, he's still up there as a solid scorer, not great.

22 and 10 with 5 stocks today. 11/13 FG. Lot of turnovers though and a home loss.

Based on his stats right now, it seems like he finally has the highest season steals of all current players and is about to move into the top 25 all-time for steals in a season. Impressive!

No other place to mention this- Landale with 11/9/5 as Houston's starting centre in a game where they rested everybody. McVeigh also got some garbage time, and on the other side so did Trentyn Flowers for the clippers.
On the nba theme- shoutout Taj Gibson on his 1000th game

Welcome to create a Landale thread to track any notable games of his. Great to see any of the Australians getting time. Threads are free.

" On Thursday night, the Hawks star went back even a little further with his latest steals accomplishment.
Daniels reached 226 steals for the season, which passed Allen Iverson (225) for the most in a single season since Gary Payton had 231 in 1995-96.
The 6-foot-8 wing is averaging just more than 3.0 steals per game, tops in the NBA.
He's also pouring in a career-high 14.3 points per night with 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest."

He didn't get to play in today's game so finished on 229 steals which is good for 22nd all time in a season and the most this century. Hell of a season.
What is most impressive is he's been able to become an average player offensively which enables the team to keep him out there for his superior D.
He increased his efficiency a little despite a huge jump in usage.
The fact he's just turned 22 means there's a good chance he'll still be able to improve his shooting and playmaking even more.
