36ers @ Breakers, 4:30pm our time

The 36ers are in NZ for this evening's clash with the struggling Breakers.

The game tips off at 7pm Auckland time which should be 4:30 for us here in Adelaide.

There's a bit of a game preview here for anyone who wants to read my ramblings.

Copes and Nash should be in. Farley is out. Smyth could start Ng again or try Copeland.

Breakers are 2-0 up on the 36ers this season, but have switched in Pierre Wooten for Brian Wethers since those games.

Unfortunately this game is not on Fox (we've had our solitary 36ers road game on Fox this year...) so your best bet might be the NBL's live scores, if they work - cross your fingers now.

What are people's tips on this game and by how much??? I'm tempted to put a few bucks on the sixers to grab this win, even without Farley in the line up. Sixers are paying $2.35 for the win against the Breakers at $1.60.

Now 37-25 after quick points from Wooten.

Without Farley...Horvath s getting the ball and Maher finding touch. Breakers wont keep that shooting up. Didn't think Wooten was capable of scoring!!

9 down, but they aren't playing a team noted for having a killer blow in them.

Half time 58-54

Sutton has 10. Come on 20, fingers crossed. He was subbed of when he was playing well. Typical of Phil.

Maher has 13. If he fires up and get 30 do you think he will use this to get the extra cash in his next contract if he stays at the Sixers?

Umpires are reffing BADLY.

Sixers foul NZ, 5th foul (not a charging) didn't get free throws.

NZ then foul Adelaide, 5the foul and it was a charging foul. Sixers get two free throws.

2 mistakes that put Adelaide back into it.

Thankgod.

123abc, I don't think Maher needs a 30 point game to convince the club that he's a good player. ;)

He is there to win.

Horvath gets a tech for disputing a call on offense.

Commentators seem to think that Dorge is having a go at Carlos for not getting it done when it would be encouraging him to stay within the team systems.

122 - 112 Breakers win

I think we actually missed Farley tonight, the 3 point shooting wasnt there for us until the 4th quarter, and NZ was on friggin fire with them.
Cple of silly fouls by the sixers early in the last quarter by Ng and then Nash.
Cooper also didnt seem to have as much effect as he has had lately, seems to be a big difference in the team when hes up there.

Maher and Horvath, Ng solid games, but the rest of the team didnt really contribute enough for us to deserve the win.

I am never listening to NZ radio again.

Does this leave us with any chance for the finals??

Could mean that he was still on court as he was the player interviewed by the Kiwi commentators?

To whoever asked about play-off chances, yes, against the Hawks and Slingers, the 36ers are still a shot, but they have no easy games from here on - not a single gimme on the schedule.

Slingers have a fairly tough set also, but would rate as a chance of getting a couple.

Hawks still get to host the Kings, Breakers and Slingers, as well as visit the Pigs.

I'm guessing that bottom four might finish: Singapore, Adelaide, New Zealand, West Sydney (as it is now, funnily enough).
