Must be a Monday, this thread is back again.

Maybe the seals are trying to create their own publicity by having "dorothy dixers" put on the forum.

Thank god they are not back.
If they think they were good for the game, they are kidding themselves.

Awesome, looking forward to it.

The Seals are being replaced with something similar on game night but with different people.

Certainly the Seals did a good job and offered good entertainment. The reality of the matter is that the majority of the crowd thought they were a bit of a joke and did not belong on the court. Possibly the 36ers management have heard these same comments and decided that the Seals were not in keeping with the new image they are attempting to promote. As I said at the start I thought they were OK but there are a lot more people who viewed the Seals in a negative manner.

The club tried something different and it didn't get the desired results, so they have decided to move in a different direction.

However Skip and I will be trying to put together a Seal'D equivelant on a more regular basis with the help of the club.

I for one am glad to see the club try something, its a pity it didn't work. I just hope the club tries VERY bloody hard to have a mascot this year.

I say go old Boston Celtics style - back in the last 80's, early 90's there half time entertainment schedule used to say

Half Time - "Ball Boy Wheels Ball Cart to Half Court"

Less is more in my books.
