This happens from time to time during the season, just wondering if anyone knows the exact reasoning behind having lame commentators watching the game on TV, talking over muted court sounds?
Is it because the commentators at the game arent being paid by ESPN?
Surely in this day and age they can cut out the game commentary so we can at least get loud court sounds etc.

You can still hear the voices of the KCAL 9 Commentators in the Background. The game is even supposed to be on ESPN, But ESPN pay other sources and use their footage and then add their own commentry.
Boy it's a boring as game too. I think college basketball is much more exciting, especially watching Mills drop 37 :)

yeah this happened at last years allstar game for some reason there was no court sounds until mid way through the 3rd quarter..
they should have showed a real game like dallas vs
houston.
dallas snatched the game with under a minute to go!

Nice job by ESPN of showing Bogut's talents in the ad for the game, by ending it with footage of him getting a dunk blocked by Luol Deng, who's 5 inches shorter than him. Pretty ridiculous thing to put in there IMO.

You blokes are full of it. The game was good. Kobe and Redd were going at it. Redd hit some tough shots and Bogut made some top passes and scored some good baskets in the fourth. eventhough he did foul out he showed some fine basketball smarts. Yes Bogut is a bit of a wanker, but he is better than Longley.

You would think after years of complaining of not enough NBA on australian tv, that 3 games a week would silence people. Mute it and put some music on and be grateful to be watching the best league and players in the world from the other side of the planet.

I could hold down the centre spot with the Team the Bulls had. Good to see the man who won all those championships lead us to the promise land when he played for Australia!!!! Idiots. Bogut has more tallent but had a crap team around him. Same with Australia. Its a rebuilding process. If we had bogut instead of longly when it was the Gaze and heal era we might have had a chance of beating the bigger teams cos we would have atleast 2 post moves
