Personally i don't leon powe will get the MIP cause i don't think he will the time on the court needed to win it. If he does however, he is a good chance of winning it. JR Smith is an instant offence type of player so i think he good chance of winning it. If he adds a couple of rebounds and assits per game to his stat line he will probably win it. He's in the running for the 6th man of the year as well.

Knicks to return to the playoffs.

Ha ha it might be difficult for New Orleans to win and the Lakers to come runner up, seeing as they're both in the same conference and all...

NBA Champs: New Orleans Hornets

Runner Up: LA Lakers

I've got more chance of shagging Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner and Kate Hudson in a wicked foursome than the NBA Champs being the Hornets and the Lakers being the runner-up....

Runner Up: Houston

MVP: LeBron
6th Man: Manu
ROY: Oden
MIP: Ramon Sessions (real smokey)
Leading Scorer: Kobe
Defensive Player: Artest
Rookie Bust: Jason Thompson
Smokey Team: Trailblazers
Coach of the year: Rick Adelman
Pretenders not contenders: Cavs followed by the Mavs

Call me crazy but I'm gonna say Gallinari will be quite a good player in years to come. He seems pretty good at creating his own shot (unlike most others euro busts). Also is a very good shot.

The first person wrote Gallinari as the rookie bust and everyone seems to have followed. Is this cause their general knowledge of the rookies is average and they r willing to just go with it or is it because u's all think Gallinari is that bad. Wouldn't worry about this kid he will be turning some heads and that is a FACT!

Gallinari getting no love at hoops SA!

What are you all basing this on? dude hasn't played a lick all summer. Half glass empty [email protected]#$er [email protected]!#ers!
Why assume the worst? It is easy to do, coz its the Knicks, but ya'll gonna look silly after 82 games and Dan the man is doing great things in NY.

Brook Lopez?
Alexander- can you say 'project'

Sleeper team has gotta be Dallas. Coach has a proven track record for turning a franchise in one season. Dirk is still a former MVP. Kidd will be so much better than all people seem to think. They are a solid team at all facets of the game.

By the way- Get on Ronnie Brewer for most improved.

He was the most underated SG last year- he will av close to 20ppg this season.

AK for 6th man should be a lock if he plays there enough to qualify.

I bet he cries if he wins it.

Sloan is the biggest lock for Coaching honours. Dude is breaking the record this year for tenure, don't think they won't give it to him as a retrospective award if no other glaring candidate emerges.

I am so sick of the Philladelphia hype - I dont believe it or get it...

NBA Champs: Phillidelphia 76ers

Ha, nah...

NBA Champs: Houston Rockets

Runner Up: Cleveland Cavaliers (why are they 'pretenders' now? About 5 points off beating the Champs and now they are even better?)

MVP: Lebron James
6th Man: J.R. Smith
ROY: Greg Oden
MIP: Devin Harris
Leading Scorer: Lebron James
Defensive Player: Jermaine O'Neal
Rookie Bust: DJ Augustine
Smokey Team: Toronto
Coach of the year: Rick Adelman
Pretenders not contenders: Orlando

The west is too good these days - Cant see the being a legitimate threat.
