Guy Molloy to Ballarat

Guy Molloy has been appointed to coach Ballarat Miners in SEABL next season as part of his role as elite performance manager within the ballarat basketball association.

This effectively ends his position as Vic Metro u/18 coach as he now is from Vic Country.

Also looking at his resume on the miners website, it says he is currently 43 yet it says that he was head coach of canberra capitals in 1989 (makes him 23 yrs old) and assistant coach of the opals from 1990-1994 (makes him 24-28 yrs old). To me that is extremely young to the point where I think that maybe there is a typo? If now then simply WOOOOOW!!

age is about right, just check the capitals results in 1989, won 8 lost 15, as a result of that season he had a coaching "meltdown" and "left" women's coaching. Returned to do the Canberra Gunners men in 1991-92. very driven individual, got the gunners ut to 5th in a good effort from 14th and 11th

Ballarat always targets the best coaches available. Ballarat started the coaching careers of Brian Goorjian, Al Westover, Brendan Joyce
