St Mary's in tournament this year?

exactly the same RPI and W/L ratio.

surely they deserve it this year with so many mid range teams being not as strong as last year.

it doesn't matter if they beat the Zags or not, they have done enough. Remember, the WCC had THREE teams in the tournament last year.

Kad, only Gonzaga made the NCAA tourney last season from the WCC. Saint Mary's and Portland both missed out. IMO the Gael's should have been in last year. This year they are borderline. If they defeat the Zag's today they are in. Lose and they are at the mercy of the NCAA selection committee...

Anyhow, Joe Lunardi just updated his bracket and actually moved St Marys up a seed.

Not should be.. there are in, WCC tourney champs so they get the automatica bid to the NCAA tourney.

Right now Joe Lunardi has them as a 10 seed
