There's some notable omissions.

1. Centrals can't be complete without their one-season league MVP from early 80s (can't remember his name - white guy).

2. Vandenbergh in Centrals? He only just got there. And Atkins? Seriously?

3. No West team can be complete without Leroy Loggins, Ken Richardson, Joachim Thiel. You have to remember West were an NBL championship team only 23 years ago - and you could just pick that team and forget the rest of their players since then and be close to the mark.

4. Sturt look good. They've had a lot of 36ers' imports spend off-seasons with them over the years (Jones, Hays, Phillips etc).

How about Al Green, Dwayne Nelson and maybe Jamie Madigan for Centrals?

Forbes 500

Brendon Mann never played seniors with Centrals just juniors left after Under 16 for a season at North Adelaide before AIS

Moses it was Steve Brekey (spelling sorry) would have played NBL but wife wanted to go home to America for family reasons

Al green
Dan Clausen
J Dennard
S Brekey
Jamie Madigan (Was he from Mildura, if so hell of a player)
Mark Asher
Ashley Truman
Ben Todd
John Platten (A few games in 82 if I recall correctly
Chris Lucas as a player and coach

And Iam sure there are more from 1983-84 era under Arden Herr and mid 1990s under Chris Lucas

Didn't Damien Keogh, Brad or Mark Dolton and Simon Cottrell play a season with Murray Bridge around the same time as Bob Hunnerup was coach and Ron Nunnerly was a scoring machine? Early 90's late 80's

Is the rumour true that Andrew Gaze went out to a South Adelaide trials as an under 12 because his dad was going to work in SA and his grand parents lived in Marion?

Where is Shane Armat playing now? He went to college in the USA but never returned or didn't hear anything of him playing ABA for South Adelaide?

Last time the "where is shane ahmatt" topic came up, someone said that he had married an American girl and was living in the US.

That's him on the right, cheering.

No Eagles team is complete without John Wesley (I think that was his name - American who was tragically killed here in Adelaide). His regular battles in BankSA league with Mark Davis were sensational to watch.

He, Pearce, Simons and Phillips were awesome together.

Need to establish some rules here for nominations, Daryl Pearce started at South and changed late in his career, Dean Kinsmen Sturt as well as Darren Breeding, who changed from South to Sturt as a junior

for south you would have to have mike ahmat as pg first aboriginal ever to play for oz. Don Shipway would have to be player/captain/coach as he was south captain before he started coaching and was dam good too.
