John Rillie named Assistant Coach at Boise State

Boise State University men's basketball head coach Leon Rice announced the promotion of John Rillie to assistant coach, after he served as Director of Basketball Operations last season.

Rice Announces Changes to Bronco Coaching Staff

Rillie most certainly has played a role in securing Drmic and Iggy to the Broncos for next season.

It is also worth noting that head coach Rice was formerly linked with Gonzaga, hence the connection (that is where Rillie played his college hoops).

Good luck JR!

Boise State are definitely trying to become the new St. Marys
They are hoping to create a new relationship with the AIS with the hope of luring more Aussies to Boise State.

Definitely agree.

In another article posted in the U19 WC's thread, it states that Boise State are also chasing the signatures of fellow Emu's Andrija Dumovic and Mitch Norton.

Well in that case the Sixers should hire brett Maher as head coach because they will win three championships then.

Also worth mentioning that Aussie Adam Caporn is also now the Assistant coach at Saint Mary's, further strengthening the Aussie connection.

I hear that 1 or 2 mid Div 1 programs are trying to establish the link with OZ as the players are ready made! And an easy way to recruit
