U18's Aussie Junior Champs mens final

It was great to be able to watch the U18's Aussie Junior Champs mens final live on the basketballACT youtube site. See the link to over 30 past games as well

Andrej Lemanis was one of the co-commentators and gave lots of insight into the players under 17's WC as well as the boomers. hopefully a replay of this game will be posted on the site soon.

Tom wilson was great and andrej said he is being groomed to be a point guard.

Tom Wilson is a very good player, a good passer and has the ability to play PG, but I thought with Dante Exum, Ben Simmon and Thon Maker potentially in the boomers team in 4 years time, they really need an outside shooter as the 2 guard spot to go with that core.

Doesn't really hurt Tom to play both guard spots, but I think Australia needs more elite shooters from outside too. Drimic and Broekhoff are good starts, but I could see Tom being an elite shooter too.

^ He takes a lot of shots, not very efficient considering his size and the level he's playing at. Plays a lot of minutes. He has a lot of potential though

Froling and Humphries cop a lot of criticism, not justified!
Both bottom age, both very big and will develop later than the 5'9" PGs, also in their position they rely on guards to get them the ball which isn't a strength of young guards.

Both kids have a bright future.

There are some very talented PGs in their age group who would gladly get them the ball and in the right spot.
