How much revenue would LK get if it goes to game 5

Considering he OWNS the league and United.

How much extra would he pocket in tickets, merchandising, corporate etc etc?

Just a simple question

10,500 x $50 cheapest ticket = at least $525,000 bare minimum. Stadium hire $20-30K? It's a lot of cream.

I believe this will be the first ever NBL Easter game? Only twenty years after the change to summer, lol.

Very Old, it's not about the revenue vs his other businesses, it's about the NBL becoming a profitable enterprise without help

If Melbourne win, Manu might invest his winnings into the league.

The retards here suggesting ref match fixing are simply dumb.
Undoubtedly their calling of the game has been poor.
However knowing Aylen a bit there is no way he would be manipulated.

Not true about Easter

Lanard Copeland went OFF on Good Friday 2002

And that was a first round final, in a time with 3 rounds of finals

This same anon posts every time alleging match fixing. Yet never actually bets enough to back his beliefs, clean up and have enough money that he doesn't need to still post about it on Hoops...

I vaguely remember watching Taipans playing a grand final on an Easter Sunday... maybe against the Breakers?
I just looked it up, 2011 Game 2 was on Easter Sunday.

They say any publicity is better than no publicity. On a weekend that involves the NBL grand final, the first week of AFL and the F1 who gets all the spot light.

Cricket comes up with the media story of the year, getting caught cheating with the ball, it doesn't matter the content, the only sport getting all the headlines is CRICKET.

Whatever he makes from Game 5, might pay for one of the more expensive United players? And would barely start to claw back what he's invested. Considering that the players bought by one team are drawcards in each opponent's stadium, there's value for everyone.

I have wondered though whether a United missed-championship would galvanise his resolve to persist or push him to bail. Or if winning it might have him feel like he's got what he wanted, or encourage him to try for a dynasty. The Dragons bailed after their championship after all - there were extenuating circumstances, but not an NBL season passes without some excuse for pessimism somewhere.

His first 7 players pay cheques would be in the top 20 pay checks across the competition. Game day doesn't make money it just helps the bleed.

I would be worried as a competition if he gets bored once he has won. Basketball teams are cheaper than football teams.

He might be the owner of the league, but he got pretty crappy courtside seats.

Isaac, his actions speak louder than anyone's words before him, but I guess he's only one lap into a marathon....
