Ingles dominated that game. More than his stats suggest. Disruptive on D and fed so many pick and roll passes to Favours and Gobert point blank who were being hacked. Would've had 12+ assists in FIBA rules.

Exum was very impressive and aggressive

"Would've had 12+ assists in FIBA rules"

I'm talking specifically about if you assist someone who gets fouled, and they make a foul shot, you get the assist in FIBA but not in NBA... but very witty chaps

I actually wasn't aware of that rule. My apologies.

Should be an assist in all rules. However the poor pricks whod have to watch every game in history to add an extra 2000 assists to stocktons tally (and every other player) retrospectively may disagree.

Actually I think that rule stands in the NBA too I'm almost certain I've heard NBA commentators in the past refer to it when guys were coming close to assists records.

Or maybe it's the one dribble thing in the NBA they still count it even if the receiving player takes 2-3 dribbles but I think FIBA only count it if you take one dribble.

Yep it's what you said.

NBA is very generous with assists (i.e you can throw it ahead to half court where a player catches, takes 6 dribbles, fakes, spins and shoots a fade away and get an assist), but don't count free throws like they do in FIBA rules.

On the flip side FIBA needs to be pretty much leading to a direct bucket (catch and shoot, or in the motion, straight line to the basket).
