Simon Kerle's commentary has improved

His commentary last night was much better than his first effort but he has a long way to go.

He's now a yoga instructure and peaceful side of him doesn’t translate well to sports.

He’s got some value to add, but his tone and delivery is too chill at times. He also needs to speak louder.

Good to see a presenter/commentator make such a rapid improvement after only one week.

With what he improved in, Matt Russell has gone backwards to the same amount. Terrible, doesn't know what calls are being made, horrible to listen to. For what ended up being a great game it was disappointing to have that selection of commentators.

It's not Kerle's first commentary gig. Far from it.

I thought he did well, happy he doesn't yell into the microphone as well.

Needs to speak a little more clearly at times but overall he was fine

It would be good if this article told us how many games he played or something.

He was good back in the day when he was brash on that NBL panel show. Yoga or age has chilled him?

Agree on Kerle. Once he begins projecting himself a little better I think he'll be great. A James Harvey lite if you will. (I miss Harves btw)

Why does Kerle get a thread by the way? Heal and Tragardh et al. are declining from an already low level and not a peep about it.

What happened to harvey? I liked his commentary

Heal and Tragardh are tried and tested. Kerle's the new kid on the block.

Lowkey, Tragardh has become my favourite commentator.

Yeah I think he is pretty entertaining too. The occasional dodgy dad joke doesn't negate 2 hours of otherwise solid work.

Harvey was solid, but NBL seem to only want spuds. Tragardh is lame and that voice...

Forgot about Harvey, he was really good.

He's a tad boring to listen too. But he has some really good points and facts. He'd be a great commentator if he spoke my confidently... The knowledge is there just not the execution!

Welcome change from some of the dribble. No BS.
