More rumour than fact but if Brooks injury is worse than feared and Boone is done what kind of imports should Illawarra pursue?
For me I think a shooting guard and a power forward would be ideal.

What are they 1-6 now? Their season is basically over so maybe now just stick with what they've got and blood youth. Say bring Grida or even Glover in to the starting lineup to replace Brooks and move Froling in to replace Boone.
I imagine they've either got to start Ball or play him a certain amount of minutes anyway so just push the youth option.
They can't just do nothing... Noone will show up to watch a team lose by 30 every week.

They're getting poor crowds anyway and who says they will lose every game by 30? I'm not sure Flinn is up to it but look at what a good coach like Joey Wright can do with an ordinary roster.
Run and gun play up tempo throw Melo and Grida some lobs I bet that will increase the crowds and you might win a few games here and there too.

Just get the best talent you can afford, wouldn't hand keys over to Ball as point right now so would make that priority but otherwise see what's out there. With world tuning in would want to advertise league/team as attractive as possible. Losing by 30 each night would get Ball packing bags pretty quick so must do something. And exposure would certainly attract a decent player or 2 so can show off wares for next gig.

Sam Froling should play - a lot.
As far as crowds, there was 10K in Melb to watch SEM last week ( a lot of Big Baller Brand jerseys in the crowd) and NZ was sold out mid week.
Hawks can't/won't make the playoffs, so they might as well be fun.

Cooks isn't interested though - he voluntarily was demoted from head coach to assistant years ago.
Cooks doesn't look like he wants it just another Kevin Brooks type happy being an assistant.

Hawks have Sunday Dech who helped the wildcats go 8-0 when he filled in for an injured Martin/Cotton/Norton.
Move LaMelo to the 2. Get Sunday to run the team.
Dech also plays defensively, a very big part of hawks problems. Leave Ball at the one but let Dech guard the best opposition guard. Glover is flashy but not as reliable as Dech.
