Perth Wildcats centre Majok Majok suffered an Achilles tendon injury at team training on Wednesday.
Scans have since confirmed a rupture of the tendon, and the 27-year-old will undergo surgery to repair the injury.
Terrible news for the guy. Wonder if wildcats are on the line to Anderson already. At least he'll bump the average age up again with Damo gone.
Maybe salt will be healthy around season start?

I thought he did well to cover for Hunt and Plumlee.

Terrible news for Jook.
I'd say "speedy recovery" but apparently they take ages to heal, and he's basically out for a year.
Jook is underrated by many, but played some very good games for us.
Presumably whomever we had on standby just got a call?
Or do they go a different direction now needing somebody who can play a whole season.
Any BIG kids we could sign as a NS?

Yes Dazz a next star big would be handy but there would still be a roster vacancy with Majok's injury
With college a big question mark in terms of starting times and how they will play season, surely there would be some big kids that would seriously consider NBL with way things are going there, both politically and pandemic wise. Anderson would also be a good insurance policy both as coach and mentor.
No chance in hell does Bogut head over. Will have to see how naturalization goes for cotton before Plumlee gets a run, but thinks he's here for lifestyle than adding pocket money to his bank balance.

Jared Prue conformed as replacement. Not a great offensive talent but an absolute workhorse and excellent rebounder. Can fill a role off the bench.
Perth are chasing a couple of players slightly better than Prue.
