Always nice to see a player end his career back where it started.

They certainly need a guard depth due to injury, not certain weeks is the best fit though.

Why? At this stage of their season, they are surely hanging on to high-hopes in the finals. Weeks, does not strengthen that aim, at all. Serviceable, off the bench but won't be the one to get your team over the line, especially the ones drawn by Perth & MU this season.

IMO, Weeks won't make any difference to this year's campaign.

Building, for next season? Around Weeks? I don't think so. They currently have Ware and Bruce as guards. And Glover who will be healthy again next season. Let's say they retain all three. With the young guards that emerged this season, there will no-doubt be some great up-and-comers who could really boost this team. WMW, Wigness, Dufelmeier, King, etc., These guys have shown that they are a chance to become something in the NBL and beyond.

In his defence, he can be an absolute demon on defence but for him to have any impact on a whole game, let alone a season, seems fanciful. He is no Damien Martin, Mitch Norton or even a Didi Louzado.

Baffles me!

It's actually not that hard to figure out.
Their starting point and backup point both start now.
No DJ and no Didi means no other guards.
And no Newley out they have no wing players.
Actually makes most sense
