Good Luck. Every chance it will be his last season. The reality is it should be his last season now.

He's done very well, had injuries, crap of that stuff over Creek head to deal with and kept the show on the road. Heal again wrong re Goorj going there.

^^ on what basis?

They're 3rd and should make finals

Lost their starting centre at the start of the season for the season; lost their starting PG for 2 months; had to deal with the disruption of their franchise player being up on assault charges; brought Broekhoff in, slowly get him going only to have him out for 2 weeks with a groin injury, 1st game back gets a fractured eye socket & is out again. Plus Kendal Stephen’s has been out for 2 or 3 months.
I’d say to be 3rd amidst all that is better than ok

He's been decent, good move.
Consistency in coaching staff and roster core are the winning formula in this league.

He's been great considering the multitude of distractions and injuries they’ve had to deal with. He coaches circles around the 'greatest of all time’ and they’re in the playoffs comfortably. He’s been outstanding, only a fool wouldn’t sign him to an extension.

They're an expansion team that will finish top three in their second season. When was the last time that happened?

They should have been there in their 1st season. 2nd season with a better side is OK but they shouldn't progress.

Maybe all the knockers should watch the game a bit more, there offence is beautiful to watch, great ball movement. A lot coaches could learn from him.

They should have been there in their 1st season.
Expansion teams are never that successful that quickly. There's a reason that Perth and New Zealand dominated the league for a decade, and it wasn't that they constantly changed all their players and coaches. Stability and chemistry are important, not to mention that approximately 2/3rds of the players in the league were contracted in year one making them unavailable to SEM.

I don't recall an expansion team ever making top three in their first two seasons, where the team was starting from scratch rather than importing a lower-division team as often happened in the 80s.

Hopefully they push ahead with the new sbc arena sooner.

I never said anything about making top 3 at all. The first season I suggested they make the top 8 that's all and you laughed at that suggestion.
