Jackies v Breakers 16/2

Make or break for the Jackies.

Reading that Magette may be back for the Grand Final series, but don't think anyone needs to get too excited about that if they play the way they did in NZ.

Yeah a bit of work to do, but they lost SF game 1 by 22 points last year and bounced back. Sure they got lucky with Goulding's injury but all they can do is win at home and then see what happens.

As much as the JJs have achieved and are certainly a chance to make GF, they have never been in it against kings. For this reason and hopefully a great GF series I'm going to hope breakers in two or three.
At home tonight they can get this in a close one, both very good defensively so should be close.

Agreed. Tassie have only really played a few good quarters against Sydney. I think overall Kings and Breakers have played at the highest level this year, would be good to see them play it out.

Tasmania will be hard to beat at home but I'm hoping NZ can get it done tonight so they can come home and get a break before the Grand Final Series.

Tough start by both teams, neither side getting close to kings.

JJs so much better in Hobart. So far refs have been good.

The full court press is one of the most dumbest things i have ever seen in basketball.

It might come off 1 out of 10 times while most of the time it results in an open shot

Never see it in the NBA, or barely in the Euro leagues.

LOL TWICE now the Breakers dont drain the clock to end the QYR despite starting the posession with less than 24 seconds of game time.

Honestly, this league has some of the most dumbest lowest IQ players in the world.

LOL 2nd best league in the world.

What else do you expect that clown of the owner who invested his money to say?

Two threes on the buzzer at 1/4 and 1/2 time to JJs , one point game. NZ edge ahead and JJs just keep fighting back. Solid game from both sides.

I've said it before because it’s true - Rashard Kelly is one of the worst imports this league has ever seen.

JJs by 4, 9 nil run to finish the quarter. Just get the feeling they going to get this.

Basically, no one, not including the rules are going to stop the owner of the league trying to make money from the league

LOL so funny how these players only care about offensive rebounds.

They only care about it because it gives them a good chance to score.

Defensive rebounds? LO< nah, why waste energy defending when you have stats to pad.

The players only use this league as a platform to try and get in the NBA.

They dont care about this league

Abercrombie absolutely woeful. If they play him 22 mins in the final game they'll lose again. Rupert 5 points from 13 mins and D just as good or better

To easy in the end for JJs, Doyle very good, nz got no one to guard him. JJs now favourites to go back to GF.
Refs were good but went away from how all game was refereed in the last quarter, who knows why.
JJs Sydney GF not looking forward to that, Doyle been awful against Sydney all season.

Jackies are where they are because to a man they do care you moron.

Jackjumpers took the defense to another level. All over McDowell-White. Only issue was cheap offensive rebounds for Pardon and Brantley under the basket.

I don't know what he's like defensively Nick, but Kelly is 12 and 6 with 1.7 assists. Very good on the o-glass. Good numbers for a 3rd import.

What's the problem with him?

fan since the old snakepit

LOL

In under 10s you get taught if you have the ball with less than 24 secs on the clock, you TAKE the LAST shot.

It is unforgivable if the opposition takes the last shot.

LOL NZ did it TWICE.

I expect nothing less from this IQ league.

All are just a bunch of stats w$hores who are only using the league to try and get a rich contract somewhere else.

Rocking your heritage jerseys during the playoffs is a very nice touch JJs.

It's a shame they can't wear the Devils branded ones, though.

Tongue in cheek, Breakers after a full house to make up for lost earnings over last two years. Couldn't do that if they won in Tassie
