stats on NBL website

What would you expect to find when you click on stats on the official NBL page and select team stats?

I expected that I would see team shooting percentages, average turnovers and most fouls per game.

Instead they have home wins and losses and other numbers pulled directly from the ladder page including total points for and against which means nothing when no-one plays the same amount of games.

I find it really odd to have this featured.

Spatial Jam (https://spatialjam.com/nbl-historical-stats) has the sorts of stats I expect. It also allows you to drill down and resort data in different ways to focus on things of interest. e.g., see how the first 7 games compares with the next 7, see stats for each team member ranked by minutes per game etc.

The NBL runs on the smell of an oily rag, don't you know? They can’t afford a modern professional website with analytics. LOL

LK or no LK one constant has been that the NBL website sucks.

The stats are good on nbl plus are decent.

The website generally is unusable - have to use the app, no choice.

The NBL+ page on NBL.com.au results in a 404 error. Classic.

Noticed the stats have updated on the website. It's pretty accurate which I’m wrapped about. On NBL Insider, great feature. Can see all the old box scores of past NBL matches. Check it out guys. You’ll find it on the game previews then click on one of the past game links and you’ll find the other stats.

Looks like it. Closer years there's more stats I’ve notice. Good there up so now people can do better research of our past NBL players, matches.

Pretty great isn't it

I can see the stats back to 1979 on the "stats" tab in the NBL app, but where's the "insider" thing and how do we access individual box scores?

I swear some of these sites deliberately make their websites s**t so you have to use their apps to find what you want. No idea why, but the footy sites are often the same.

I agree, but you can only find the stats on the pregame before each match starts. Interesting looking at the 48min games. They use to score heaps back then. 130pts was a good win back in 2007.
