Bullets allowed to sign new player (from; nbl.com)

Short statement saying a replacement would be allowed for Harrison (only him, no others).

Seems odd that that was even considered at this stage of the season (and ladder!). I am guessing that Brisbane asked for it, doubt that the NBL would have made a statement of fact, and so specific as to it being for Tyrell H only, just for the hell of it.

Unfortunately, it also says that Harrison's concussion is serious??? Get well soon, Tyrell.

Maybe just due to the sheer amount of injuries plaguing Brisbane right now, isn't there a minimum amount of players that have to be registered for a game? They only had 9 the other week

Good point, word14, but why only Harrison? No other imports, for Batemon, Cook, Prather or Adams, makes sense but Bairstow, Adel, MacDaniel etc, why not for them?

Compeditive balance surely the NBL doesn't want Whitey playing in the 4 for the next 5 games

Bullets have signed Callum Dalton as a 'concussion replacement player' is he the first person to ever be on that type of contract? Never heard of it before.

on further reading i suspect the CRP is a brand new type of contract introudced by the NBL just to allow Brisbane to get another body on the floor. The Bullets NRP contract I believe is taken up by Naar

I find it odd you have to jump through hoops to call someone up. I understand you want to avoid someone coming off a contract in Europe or even the NBA coming in and giving a team an unfair advantage, but surely if there's wording that the replacement player:
- Must be Australian
- Can not have played outside of Australia in the last 12 months
- Must have most recently played in NBL!

You'd be able to limit it to replacement level only players.

Likely given a few of those injuries are as a result of the sub standard floor they were forced to play on v SEM the NBL felt obligated to offer something.

Bullets wouldn't be in the position they are if not for that game, and that's despite the Bullets raising the issue prior to the game.
