Breakers v Taipans 01/02/2025

Although this is a cellar dweller matchup $1.9mil has been matched on Betfair. Dayummm.

I haven't seen anything quite like this before for a NBL or basketball market in general.

The favourite flipping from CNS to NZB caused there to be a trading opportunity for some big hitters.

Wish I was a gambler. Sounds more exciting than some games I've watched!

While I don't understand gambling at all, it sure does seem interesting, neither side are laying down for draft picks. NZ in a cracker hopefully.

If PJC was playing this was a Breakers victory, but his rib cartilage injury as him out for the rest of the season. Hopefully we get a good contest.

Cairns for the W. Playing well and looking to square up for NYE game.

Gak out is a loss but not as much as PJC.

For context usually $50K-$100K is matched on NBL games, after full time.

Both teams weak and undermanned. Think breakers might be buoyed to a narrow win at home

While Tacko is certainly trying hard and much better on O, his D is just so suspect.

Don't get me started dunkman. So hard to watch let alone as a supporter. My only hope is his contract is bought out by a big spending Chinese club cos no one else wants him next year including us. Compete waste of an import spot. We must be spending as much on him as pardon and probably brantley too. I'd have either ahead of tacko

I'm going to be a little fair to Tacko , he’s not for our league but some of those fouls called on him offensively are a disgrace imo, what is he supposed to do, cut his elbows off, he’s clearly in his cylinder, don’t stick your head in there.

Yeah i agree but the acting deserves a Grammy!

Flop warnings should extend to exaggerating all contact

Sounds like something pretty dodgy with that betting surge, Rozier in NBA is under investigation by FBI for suspicious activity when he was in Charlotte similar to what Porter did in Toronto.
And with the result so far it's definitely fishy. I wonder if Cairns will suddenly be cashed up next season, or some officials driving some new cars.
Curious to what the majority of the bets were on, quite a few snakes well below their averages.

Betfair is an exchange.

Traders arbed massively since the odds flipped (CNS were initially underdogs however started as favourites).

Total matched $1,975,426.18
