Chicagosports.com has it that this wednesday (or today?) luke will get another 10 dayt contract
Luke Schenscher, who has played sparingly, will get another 10-day contract Wednesday. Asked what he was doing well so far, Schenscher deadpanned: "I guess cheering well on the bench."

Luke Schenscher made a layup to give Chicago an 89-53 lead with 6:20 left in the game and he later added another basket to make it 93-55. He finished with a career-high 10 points.

Go Luke! Anyone who saw him back in the day as a Tiger would have thought the chances of him playing in the NBA were about as good as a fat kid avoiding a chocolate cake. The fact he has made it is credit to his hard work and obviously very fast learning ability. Couldn't have happened to a better, more humble bloke either.

when he came back from the AIS for a few weeks to train with us in the tigers ABA team at the time (he would have only been 16-17) he was tall and spindly and didn't do much, but considering his age and the training he has received, he certainly has done extremely well and certainly hope all the good things of the NBA come his way.

Schenscher vs Bogut today in the NBA. So far, Luke is doing pretty well. Half way through the second quarter and Bogut has 2 fouls and 1 rebound and 0/1 FG in 8 minutes. Luke has 2 points from 1/1 FG and 2 rebounds in 4 minutes.

just read on the Bulls website that Luke has been signed to a second 10 day contract - that red hair and accent is workin wonders.
When I met John Paxson in SLC after a Bulls & Jazz game he said that they just loved having Luc Longley there when he was playing, so now that he is GM he was probably just salivating to get himself another red, haired 7 footer on his roster.
